We are a mid-sized business growing our customer base. Our emails range from customer help to product promotions.

We need to be able to send approximately 40,000 to 60,000 emails a month. We prefer to be able to update our own customer and prospect databases with the opt in and opt out information rather than duplicating the data from our service. And we want to handle opt-outs per list type, (opting out of product promotions does not stop the regular newsletter, and opting out of the newsletter does not opt the client from service notices.)

1. He worked as a clerk as a young man in the industry; learning about steel production

2. He played the stock market, carefully invested and saved his money

3. Carnegie hired trained men giving them a free hand at production; tight employee controls were not a part of his steel company

4. In a time when Carnegie got into the steel business, the production was changing and he changed with the time, modernizing, putting his profits back into the company leaving him in a excellent way when the bottom dropped out the market and he remained in business.

I run an embroidery digitizing business and want to increase my customer base, I have already tried online advertising with many providers, such as Google Adwords, Yahoo and the likes.

Unfortunately nothing seems to work – I have done my own Search Engine Optimization – and even though my site is listed in the top 10 of Yahoo organic search, I have not been receiving any significant enquiries.

I also tried my hands on direct marketing, by mailing postcards – that doesn’t seem to work either and I might I add – its very expensive.

Besides, I reckon that most of the businesses involved in retail embroidery are still not using internet as a means of communication, sales or outsourcing.

I am plotting on advertising in newspapers and the thing that I can’t seem to choose is that should I go for ‘Thrifty Nickels’ or ‘Penny Savers’ to get the most for my money.

The basic consideration is that the ads should have a longer shelf life and huge circluation and inexpensive.

i am relocating to the research triangle area in NC and want to start investigating companies that are there to target directly for job opportunities (vs. using a job website to search for jobs). How can I find a listing of companies? (p.s., I’m a marketing professional)
