What rights does a person have when a business loses your personal information?
Posted by: | Commentst b questioned:
I was informed today that my personal info such as social security number, date of birth, address, and medical records were stolen from a blue cross employees vehicle that were
left unattended in brief case in the back of their car. Blue cross
sent me a letter priority mail informing me of this. I called the
phone number listed an was treated very poorly by the rep and supervisor. They told me the most they are doing is offing 1 year credit monitoring at no cost to me. I thought there were laws about what you can do with peoples info and that it has to be safe guarded because of privacy laws. The supervisor Yvonne Solomon at bcbs of michigan told me they made a mistake and didn’t follow procedures. What do I do?

Where can i find heating oil company near my area?
Posted by: | Commentssfd questioned:
Is there a site that list the local heating oil supplier, i check the yellowpages and yellowbook. but most of the business listed there also included home repair, heating and cooling technician. And what worse is they only list a phone number and no link. there no way i can even tell what their business really is.

gerroon questioned:
My phone belongs to my employer but I keep getting “recorded”, mortgage messages at work, from a bank that I have never dealt with. Is there anything I can do or should I just go to IT? It irks me that my company should know that I am on the “hit list” for a better mortgage rate. I pay my bills and it is not my employer’s business. I don’t want to call these losers back, if I can help it. Can I use the ‘no call list’ from my business phone?

Do I put the phone number of a company I worked for on my resume?
Posted by: | CommentsJimmy questioned:
When I list the businesses I’ve worked for on my resume do I place the phone number of the company and my supervisor’s name? or do I place that info on my references? Also, should I list the company phone number or the direct number to my supervisor or should I place both numbers?
