If a job posting doesn’t list a phone number but their company website does, is it rude to call it?
Bykofi questioned:
I want to check on the status of a job application. The job posting site doesn’t have a phone number, only an email. I emailed my application a week ago. But, when I look at the company’s main website, they list a phone number.
I’m not excellent with business etiquette – is it rude to call seeing that the job posting doesn’t have a number? Or should I call and show that I’m proactive and looked at their website?

I would first email the company again to find out the status of your application. If they don’t respond (say, in 2-3 days), then I would call their number and question for HR.
