Is there a way to create a Category in Yahoo Contacts and have every email address in each contact receive it?
ByKelley questioned:
For example, I have both a personal and business email address in my vcard. If I were to include my “Contact” in a particular Category (distribution list), can I some how set it up so that both of those email addresses are included in the Category and will receive the same email?

Before Yahoo was completely reformatted, you could. The Category was always vital to me and adding contacts to the category would make it possible (within the category) to send an email to “Send All”, which was both home and business in many cases, since I also used “Nicknames” to identify” I don’t know about now, though,
One thing I do know for sure is we are limited to a selection of 20 contacts to receive an email. You can, of course, go back and select 20, 20, 20, until you have the list. The problem is that with first name sort and no “Nicknames” it is impossible to tell what choices you have made.
I have been contacting Yahoo and registering complaints. I don’t know from your question, if you are satisfied with the changes.
Make A CATEGORY IN YAHOO:
You can still make categories in the new Format.
1. Check the boxes next to the names you want in a Category.
2. Go to the right window and click on “Add to Category.”
3. Enter a title for the Category in the window that opens.
4. Click the yellow “Done.”
To view your categories in the address list, click “View All Contacts.”
Y! Free is not like Outlook. Contact Categories are limited to 50 adds. Any more, & Y! thinks Spam!
Y! Plus doesn’t have those pesky limitations.
